In Daisies every child is valued, cared for and supported to develop a lifelong love of learning. We aim to prepare them for the next stage in their journey to ensure success as they move onwards.
In order to do this, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum and focus on the Characteristics of Effective Learning (CoEL).
The children learn through play, both inside and outside throughout the day. There are short adult led carpet sessions each day which cover a range of themes and curriculum areas.
Twice a week, the children go on welly walks around the school grounds. Your child will need a pair of wellies which can stay in school all week. These walks help the children get to know the school grounds and each walk has a different curriculum focus. We love learning outside and enjoy walking in the rain or sun!
