We are excited to introduce Chartwells as our new catering provider, serving wholesome and delicious meals to the children of Parsonage Farm Nursery and Infant School starting January 2026.

Healthy Eating & School Policy

Nut-Free School: Due to children with severe nut allergies, we thank you for not sending nuts into school.

Healthy Lunchboxes: In line with our policy on healthy eating, we promote healthy lunchboxes for children. Please be aware that we do not allow chocolate bars or sweets in our school lunchboxes.

Morning Snacks: Children are provided with a piece of fruit for their snack in the morning.

Chartwells’ school meals are lovingly created by a team of talented chefs and dedicated nutritionists. Their menus are designed to be both tasty and nutritious, to fuel children’s learning throughout the school day.
- ‘Thumbs Up’ Taste Tested: Chartwells ensures their food is ‘thumbs up’ taste-tested in schools with the real critics—the children.
- Menu Variety: Look out for familiar favourites like pizza, pasta, roast, and fish, plus fibre-rich additions like Chicken and Vegetable Pie, Chicken and Sweetcorn Pasta Bake, and Potato and Lentil Curry.
- Tasty Desserts: The dessert selection includes fruity favourites, warming custard cakes, crumbles, and popular chocolate delights to finish off nourishing lunchtime meals.

Allergy and Medical Diet Management
Chartwells believes every pupil should be able to enjoy coming to school and feel safe eating with their friends.
Their expert team of nutritionists helps thousands of pupils with food allergies enjoy school meals safely every day. Their work has been recognised with the LACA Nan Berger Award (2022) and the LACA + Natasha Allergy Research Foundation Award for Allergy Management (2023).
